Adding security to WordPress Blog

If you’re using WordPress for your blog or website, then I highly recommend you add some security.

I recommend you do this because:

Cyberspace is fraught with intruders lurking about looking to infect your wordpress blog or website.

Malicious hackers are out there everywhere and they want to hijack your blog , which could result in you losing all your hard work.

You need to lock it up tight – now, before it’s too late.

Dont mean to scare you but its true, I have experienced the work of hackers, in the past its annoying and frustrating.

Keeping your WordPress blog safe from pesky hackers should be your top priority Here are just a few things that you can do to add some security.

Create a strong password
Dont keep your username as admin

Secure WordPress plugin

Login LockDown records the IP address and timestamp of every failed login attempt. If more than a certain number of attempts are detected within a short period of time from the same IP range, then the login function is disabled for all requests from that range. This helps to prevent brute force password discovery.
